Achasta Donates Show Home Proceeds To Local Charity

Dahlonega, Ga. (May 8, 2009) – Achasta, a Reynolds Signature Community, is pleased to present a charitable donation to the Community Helping Place of Lumpkin County.  Funds raised were generated from tour proceeds at the first-ever Points North magazine Signature Home, a showcase home in the Achasta community.

Ron Larson, managing director of Achasta, and Witt Beckman, CEO of Points North magazine, presented a check to Brenda Cook, director of Community Helping Place, in the amount of $5,533.  The check presentation was held on May 7, 2009.  The Points North Signature Home opened for tours in October 2008 and is now open for tours by appointment only.

“We are so happy to present a check to this wonderful organization in our community,” said Larson.  “At Achasta, we have a commitment to supporting worthy organizations and the Points North Signature Home was a wonderful venue to raise these critical monies.”

Community Helping Place is the largest outreach program in Lumpkin County, with over $430,000 in aid being given to residents in need of food, clothing, or emergency financial assistance.
