Achasta Announces Grand Opening Of The First Points North Signature Home

The Points North Signature Home ribbon cutting was held on October 9.

(October 12, 2008) – Achasta is proud to announce the October 9, 2008 grand opening of the first ever Points North Magazine Signature Home.  This luxury mountain home is a collaborative effort between Linger Longer Homes and Atlanta’s Points North Magazine.

 

 

The home is now open to the public Thursday-Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Passes are available at the guard house at the Achasta main entrance.  Admission is $5.00 per person or a maximum of $10.00 per vehicle at the Points North Home. 100% of all proceeds from ticket sales will be going to Community Helping Place of Lumpkin County.

The 4,420 square foot designer home features 10-foot barrel vaulted ceilings, four bedrooms, 3.5 baths, with wide plank distressed hardwood floors, a gourmet kitchen complete with an 8 foot cooking island, an outdoor grilling area with full bar, refrigerator and microwave. On the terrace level for the wine connoisseur, the home has a custom built, temperature controlled wine cellar with stone floors and a marble tasting table.  Also on the terrace level is a media room complete with a drop down projector movie screen and theater-style seating for six.
