Tom Fowler Jasper, Ga. native Tom Fowler is the head golf professional at Achasta. Most recently head professional at The Oconee Course at Reynolds Plantation, a position he held since the course opened in 2002, he was formerly head professional at the Plantation Course, a position he took one year after becoming a PGA member in 1994. Fowler has also served as the tournament director of the Andersen Consulting World Championship of Golf when it was held at the Plantation Course from 1995 through 1997.

After growing up in Jasper, Ga., Fowler attended Kennesaw State University in nearby Marietta, where he graduated with a degree in business in 1991. His first golf job was as an assistant at Bent Tree Country Club in northern Georgia.

Fowler was named Assistant of the Year for the Georgia Section of the PGA of America and also served as the section's assistants division as president and tournament director. His Oconee Course golf shop was among the Top 100 Resort Golf Shops in Golf Digest in 2004. Fowler and his wife Dana have been married for 13 years and have one daughter, Hannah.
